In all seriousness I'd love to know what separates the #1 long snapper from the #28 long snapper.

I'm sure there are legitimate reasons (snap velocity, location, etc) but I'd really like to know what it is.

just in case this thread hasn't gone complete to trolltown and people are wondering:

UK has an incoming freshman from Warren G. Harding (OH) named Lynn Bowden and he's a baller.

He was the runner-up for Mr. Football in Ohio and playing zone read QB accounted for 3500+ yards (2200 rushing) and 57 touchdowns.

He rushed for ~7,400 yards and 91 touchdowns in HS.

He's going to play a lot in the slot, at RB and at wildcat QB starting next year.

The things that separate long snappers are time from snap til it hits the punter's or holder's hands, the ability to place the ball where the punter wants it, and ability to get down the field to make a tackle.
