It's crazy how much better TN HS FB has gotten and Quarles really deserves a TON of credit. He influenced so many HS coaches - pretty much everyone and that has paid dividends the last few years with no end in sight.

Lotta folks on here are convinced TN HS FB is still prospect poor but the last few years have shown otherwise. The difference is not just that we've had a population boom which helps but that we've finally started to produce skills players whereas we've always produced some of the best DL and OL those guys are often overlooked while skills guys get the attention and glory. But just look at Josh Malone who may well be the best WR in the draft despite coming out early.

Thanks to Quarels and the pop. boom I don't think this is a fluke. Hell even KnoxVegas/E. TN is churning blue chippers out thanks to the hard work Quarels put in educating TN HS coaches, running tons of clinics, and just really elevating TN HS football.
