1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Southern California
4. Washington
5. Oklahoma

6. Ohio State
7. Penn State
8. Florida State
9. Wisconsin
10. Michigan

11. Oklahoma State
12. Stanford
13. LSU
14. Florida
15. Western Michigan

16. Virginia Tech
17. Colorado
18. West Virginia
19. South Florida
20. Miami

21. Louisville
22. Tennessee
23. Utah
24. Auburn
25. San Diego State

The BIG 10 and PAC 12 really did some work last season.

Don't give me a poll if you don't want to (there are way too many that will come out between now and September)...

...just give me your "thoughts" and ideas about last season's final poll in relation to 2017.

College football seasons never turn out as predicted...we all know that, at least. That is what makes it so exciting each year.

That's gotta be the highest finish for a team that lost its season opener by 46 ever.

There was a storm down there.

At least that is how the story goes.

It might have affected rankings at the end of the season.

No one really knows for sure after the Civil War between Baton Rouge and Gainesville.

One must have been there to really understand.

Are you bragging?

Auburn did the same thing in 2010 against a brutal SEC West....

...and won a National Championship, unlike Alabama last year.

It will be interesting to see how Georgia, Texas A&M and Arkansas does this season given their results against the top 25 last season.

They all could have had great seasons last year by a mere touchdown per game.

Their fans must have gone crazy with the coaching decisions.

I'm 40 so I've lived through the low times. Perkins, Curry, Dumbose, Fran, Shula..but yeah we are pretty spoiled right now. I think the younger fans take it for granted but us older guys seem to appreciate it more.

Highest ever finish for a team that lost a game by over 45 points?

That's good to know how much the older generation appreciates history.

It can always be better...but it can also be worse if we try.
