One of my all time memories of grandmother before she passed was me and her listening to Jack Cristil broadcast the Vandy/State game in nashville where Shan Foster took our soul on his senior night (game wasn't on Tv)

He scored 42 points and made 9 threes in a row at one point

Jack Cristil on the broadcast said he's never seen anything like it and he's been broadcasting for 50+ years. Foster was hitting contested, fadeaway 3's from 30 feet out.

Shan Foster could not be stopped by anyone that night it was unreal listening to it while my old new york irish grandmother was dogcussing Foster

Shan Foster unreal

Ok, yes, counting that old crappy conference, but here's a list of Mizzou conference POY winners (going back to the Big 8 days, not earlier):

1. Willie Smith
2. Kim Anderson - yes, the guy who just got fired was actually a pretty dang good basketball player
3. Ricky Frazier
4. Steve Staponovich
5. Doug Smith
6. Doug Smith - he won twice
7. Anothy Peeler
8. Melvin Booker - yes, the one who's kid went to KY, which man, that one really hurt

Mizzou had more POY than any other Big 8 school, including the beakers. Now they won 0 in the Bevo 10 and obviously none in the SEC, so it's been awhile.
