Has to be the actual animal that is the mascot. Auburn, for example, has a bird but they're the Tigers. So they don't fit the criteria.

Florida- No
Georgia- Yes
Kentucky- No
Missouri- No
SC- Yes
UT- No, unless you get weird with semantics since volunteers were people and they have a volunteer dress up on the sidelines. This one could be a trick answer
VU- No

Alabama- Impossible
Arkansas- Yes
Auburn- No
LSU- Yes
MSU- Yes
OM- Another "trick" answer. I will say no
ATM- From their website: "An Aggie is a student at Texas A&M." So yes.

They could put the dinoflagellates in an aquarium and just have it sitting on the sidelines....

Damn, dude, you nailed it. I thought someone might possibly get UT or T A&M but not both. And this is not something that you can find on the interweb, I came up with this riddle on my own. Cudos
