Also, maybe a review of single malt scotches could be addressed herein. I've heard the best taste like Band-Aids.

The good thing about scotch, is that all of it tastes good. Just some better than others.

The craft beer IPA thing though, you could literally soak pine cones in owl piss and win a ribbon at an IPA-off.

Of all the IPAs out there, there's only a handful I like, because of exactly what you just said.

That doesn't mean all craft beer sucks. IPA is only one style.

There are many good ones. The taste test reviews on them are interesting in their descriptions. One I really like and have consumed is Laphroig, described by several reviews as "medicinal".

On the beer the owl piss filtered by a pine cone is a pretty funny description. Maybe a better filter needs to be used. I was thinking about Kevin Costner in Waterworld and his purifying machine and then I ran across this article about a filtering process where urine could be turned into beer. LINK. I don't know how widespread this is as far as use or how the beer derived therefrom actually tastes.

I need to find some of that McSnoot Ale you often refer to. It sounds intriguing and I have to meet with a judge of Irish descent in a couple of weeks. Might have to bring some of this ale along.
