As an aside, the last time I ate at a Hardee's was the one on the corner of 316 and 20 literally 20 years ago. They had fried chicken.

I remember that one well. Was it that store or one of the ones nearby that caught fire and ultimately led to the exodus of business in that little spot?

Hardees on North Ave in Athens would give you free fries and a drink with a student ID if you bought any sandwich/burger. I unabashedly took full advantage of this offer as a broke arse undergrad, haven't been back though in years.
