The secret is out on Oxford - snow birds have taken notice too and are moving that have no ties to Ole Miss. Short-term football decline won't diminish it.

Believe it or not, one huge draw for people from the Upper Midwest is the crappie fishing in Enid, Sardis, and Grenada lakes. Those are probably three of the Top Ten crappie lakes in the country. And, it's easy to find a condo for rent in the spring semester, opposite of football season.
It's hard to find a hotel room in Grenada in Feb, Mar, April. And it's all Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois tags in the parking lots.
