My point is everyone has an agenda when it comes to a SEC school and everyone on here wants Ole Miss to get hammered because it helps their school out. Ole Miss cheats on the same level as probably everybody else. Ole Miss should still get penalized for getting caught but to act like other schools are cleaner than Ole Miss is being very naive.

You're swallowing the party line. It is well established by now that Ole Miss was going above and beyond what is just the normal course of business, and that's exactly why other teams spoke up. This wasn't just keeping up, your boosters started rocking the boat, openly offering cash and other benefits to make sure they won those battles instead of just being on the same playing field.

The poor me shite doesn't fly in this case. This isn't Ole Miss getting picked on because they tried to keep up with the big boys, this was slow rolling past the IRS head office in a $100K vehicle on 32s with the system turned up when you haven't filed a tax return in ten years.

This is a good point. I do wonder however how much we can take opposing coaches at their word, though, given the inflammatory things that Bielema has said about Florida and our recruiting practices. As far as I know there's no reason to believe that the Gators go "above and beyond" what anyone else is doing.

But that's getting way off topic.
