We are all going to get more acquainted with the NCAA hierarchy of offenses and their punishment structure.
OM fans have taken solace in the fact that no "smoking gun" has been revealed relating to pay-for-play. But, pay-for-play is no more egregious than many other infractions in the NCAAs eyes. Unfortunately for OM, one of the things the NCAA deems most punishment-worthy is illegal contact/ recruitment. Example: A Head Coach involving a booster in the recruitment of a student-athlete. Now, imagine if there was documentation of that head coach actually being in the same room with a recruit and a booster. Man, that punishment could get medieval
