On the poli board, a lot of downvotes usually means somebody said something intelligent.

There's a reward system. Use the search function to find the thread. For example, if you get 10 upvotes, you get a UTennessee co-ed to have sex with. If you get 30 upvotes, you don't have to have sex with her.
