Technically neither of those guys are part of the 2018 class.
Let's talk actual 2018 Freshman, who has Barry recruited so far that gets you even remotely excited?
Meanwhile there's 5 or 6 guys in Missouri that area playmakers that he's whiffing on.
I'd imagine that if this class finishes outside the top 50, which is very well might, people will be singing a different tune.

why Would juco players not be included in this class.
There really only 2 local players that Mizzou has missed on. With 4 more still uncommitted. Play well for the rest of the season and Mizzou can get 2-3 of them.
Play poorly and BO will be game, then the next coach can try recruiting them.

Oh, it will-it will. The BOback Mountain crew will be rationizing, excusing and filibustering with lowering the expectation/demand bar so as to accept even worse than mediocrity.
