Someone that might grab a walk-on spot is Austin Connor out of Dutch Fork. He is a 3* WR but waited too long to commit to a school so the offers dried up.

He had offers from South Carolina and Virginia Tech, among others.
He runs track as well and is ranked No. 1 in the state in Class 5A for the 100 and 200.

Also keeping an eye on Jaylen Twyman, 6'2 DT out of Washington, DC.
Sounds like a late push by Lance Thompson has him choosing between us and Pitt, though he's been a Pitt lean for a while.

I saw that article this morning about Connor and was wondering if he might end up here.
4.3 GPA so he's definitely a smart one in the classroom, just seemed very naive about the recruiting process.
And to the tater fan...I dm'd some of those asshats posing as Gamecocks and the tards boasted about them actually being taters and that there was nothing anyone could do to stop them from "having a little bit of fun with their lil bro's recruits."
