WTF is a corndog? I thought this thread was about LSU, not Nebraska or Iowa.
Or maybe it's something Georgetown fans eat for Sunday dinner.?

1. The thread specified 2000, in case you couldn't understand. Fourth nationally is just what it reads - 4th nationally.

2. LSU is one of only two teams nationally to win at least 8 games every year (incl. ten 10+ win seasons) and go to a bowl game every year since 2000.

2. LSU is 11th All-time nationally in number of NCAA victories in CFB history.

ELEVENTH.

And 8th All-time nationally in bowl appearances...

It is a reasonable era mark to discuss relevant power as a program. As in this millennium, which is beginning its 18th year. The better reference would be the last 8-10 years, which would likely place Bama as number one. There is very little relevance to things that happened prior to 2000 to current programs.
