I'm hearing that Segrest is for sure out, will be announced soon but not within the next day or two. Also saying that Hargreaves is another one that's on the way out but it's not nearly as certain and/or hurried as Segrest. Partridge is 100% in the mix and will most likely appear somewhere on our staff, and supposedly we'll have 2 LB coaches.

It's speculated that Segrest is having a hard time finding a new team to latch on to, which is why it's taking a little longer. He WILL be let go if he's not employed somewhere else by a certain date, which is why he's not out recruiting. Apparently it's bad enough that they're not even letting him go out on visits pretending like he's not being fired like most coaches do. This makes me think that those locker room and behind the scenes problems amongst the defensive staff are mostly involving Segrest (and Hargreaves to a lesser degree).

ETA: apparently Hargreaves isn't being forced out as much as he would be leaving by choice. He likes it here as far as the team goes but there's something behind the scenes going on non-football related. Sounds like they're weighing their options and seeking a replacement, but if that shouldn't happen in a timely manner they're fine with him staying another season.

It also sounds like "theyll be trying something different with the defensive staff." Whether that refers to the 2 LB coaches or something else is up in the air. I like where this is going though.
