Was Tim Williams and Jonathan Allen on that defense too?

Lol that that Stoudt guy started above him

I was there. That throw was a freaking dime. Perfect coverage and it just didn't matter.

If Bama comes out with that garbage mush rush again Watson will light Pruitt up too. Hopefully he unleashes Tim Williams, Ryan Anderson, and Jon Allen. Watson is going to break contain no matter what. You may as well apply real pressure and count on Senior pass rushers who have a lot of snaps in their careers to get him in the ground.

He just came in for that drive. Then they took Watson out and continued to play Clemson's worst QB ever (Cole Stoudt) for the remainder of the game. That was a wow moment. We knew we had something.

Yeah, i saw that and double covered as well. If a qb can make a perfect pass, he can beat a Pruitt defense. The thing is Pruitt and Saban's philosophy is that college football qbs can't make that throw enough times in a game to win. It is hard to argue with the success of these defensive masterminds.

Alabama would have picked that and took it the other way.

I remember that and thinking Dabo was a true dingus in switching Watson out for Cole Slaw, and then we proceeded to whoop the tiger arse.

I hate that we didn't even try to keep Watson from going to Clemson.

We have eason and fromm in the fold now but still went balls out for lawrence.
Your post intimated that we basically offered DW a scholly and didn't talk to him again. Do you know anything about our pursuit of him? Full disclose, I don't...I just don't buy that we didnt' even try as you stated.

From what I remember, we didn't even offer him until after he'd been committed to Clemson for a solid year.

We recruited him but offered after his junior season. Kid was steered to Clemson the whole way. We could have offered Cam Newton money and I doubt he would come to UGA.

I'm hoping Saban and Pruitt have worked something out to contain the dude. They have last year's game as a reference...
