If you've ever heard the old adage "if everybody's invited, nobody's invited", I think that applies here. They've created a playoff AND added more bowl games. At some point, being invited to a bowl is an expectation rather than a delight. It's just another way to get into your wallet and it obviously has taken a huge toll on attendance.

The only way I would attend a bowl game anymore is if AU was in the playoff, or if I liked the city where AU was playing and it was convenient to see friends or family, or I was going there anyway traveling on business. Even then, there is no way I'd buy tickets at full price. I heard from some of my AU friends in NOLA that you could get in the game for $10 a ticket in some places.

I mean it's obvious it's over saturated! When are people gonna start losing money on this shite!
