Jeez it can't get any worse than last week. 57 yards passing.

Saban could have DeShaun Watson as his QB and he would still look like a game manager due to how restrictive the offense is. Jalen Hurts is playing way too passive right now because Saban is getting on his case for every mistake he makes. Hurts is either throwing the ball away too early or taking off and running when his first read isn't open because he's deathly afraid of throwing interceptions. I really don't think that's a good way to develop a QB. Saban needs to trust Hurts to make the right reads and throws. If Hurts makes the right read but ends up throws an interception because his throw is slightly off-target or the defender makes a great play, that's fine. shite happens. Or even if he throws an interception because he read the coverage wrong, just let it go every once in a while. No QB is perfect. But when you have a coach who keeps hammering the point that the QB shouldn't be aggressive trying to make plays because it can lead to mistakes, you get this type of QB play. So I really don't think Hurts should be blamed for how he's been playing over the last couple games as much as Saban's philosophy and how he approaches offense.

Saban doesn't coach offense. The QB developement is all on your guru Kiffin.

If anything, not this. Jalen is never afraid to get his two turnovers in every game. Seriously, when he has a turnover and the other team doesn't score off of it immediately, I'm actually relieved and think "I'm glad he got that one out of the way."

Dude has ice in his blood. When he fricks up, he still wins.
