His recruiting ranking was based off of the physical gifts he possessed. He has all the tools. 6'6 frame, 220 lb, athletic and mobile enough to be a threat running, cannon for an arm. Mac has to be able to develop those traits into a solid quarterback. He was brought to develop a quarterback, and now is the time to put up or shut up for Mac.
