I'd say Saban, Meyer, Carroll, Spurrier, osbourne, and bowden in their prime are on another level as coaches go in that group. Fisher and tressel are great coaches but not on those other guys level, or at least not yet but fisher could get there. Stoops is a notch lower but still good. Miles, carr, and mack were better than the rest on the list but were blessed at being at great schools but we're able to be consistent for awhile there so I'd say they're average. The rest on the list won with superior talent on fluke seasons. Now I'm not chasing a natty. That's not where our expectations should be. But to have one 9-11 win season every 4 or 5 seasons with a chance at a new years day bowl, and a couple mediocre seasons in between is what I expect at least and I don't think that's asking too much, and I guarantee you I good coach could do that.
