I want you to point out just which ones you consider as "great" coaches. Now think about how many other coaches will NEVER win a national title, yet some of these jackasses did.

Colorado : 1990

It's interesting to note that 3 of the 5 teams are from Florida, a state which rapidly grew during the period. It's also interesting to note that there have been ZERO new national title winners since the BCS/Playoff format has been adopted.

Arizona: 1997

That's 5 new winners in the past 20 years.
