Gabe DeArmond ? @GabeDeArmond
Why would we spin it? He’s not coming. We’ve been pretty clear about that for a week or two.

I'm glad we got TJB and got on the good side of ESL for a minute, but I never trusted Sunkett for a second. Something tells me his influences have a lot to do with the changed perception of Mizzou. His guys didn't play as much as he thought they should.
Sunkett and ESL aside, with the minimal amount of time I spend looking into recruiting it seems that high school coaches need to be knocked down a couple pegs. Across the board these guys seem a little too involved and influential.

Good lord. Guys didn't play enough, so BO needs to go out there and kiss some arse? frick this guy.
I'm done with the hand wringing over ESL. It sounds like a diva program from top to bottom.

They'll have guys there we want to recruit. We'll recruit them. We'll get some, and we'll lose some.
I trust that BO is doing what he thinks is right and dividing his time in the way he views as the best.
No worries

I said this last week when Taylor left that ESL guys come across as soft outside of Simms and TBJ. I think they get coddled at ESL and Mizzou is a wake up call for them. I think BO is players coach who has no problem being a hard arse and I bet these cupcakes can't handle the tough love approach from Coaches.

It's hard to call kids from that block soft and cupcakes.
I can see some, like Thomas, having that gangster diva thing going on. I'd bet Greg Taylor is anything but a cupcake, but he probably felt like he wasn't going to play when he looked at the roster situation.
TBJ is a special guy. Doesn't matter where he's from. He's got Saint eyes. Special heart. Rare guy. Lucky to have him.
Don't want to knock ESL as a whole. But Sunkett and Thomas seem to be a little lost with their assessment of things.

Well if you are whining and crying about lack of playing time you are soft.

Definitely.
But you can also look at a roster and see you're likely never going to play and do what's best for you by transferring. Happens all the time. Can be a collected and mature decision. Assuming there is whiny and crying involved is just that, an assumption.

Taylor's decision to whine and cry on twitter makes it a fact, not an assumption.
Do try and keep up.....if you can.

Who wants to have East St. Louis, which is one of the most crime-ridden, dangerous cities in America as a pipeline? Aside from TBJ, not a lot of high character guys will ever come from this place.
And why would Odom travel to the most dangerous city in America to kiss someone's arse who doesn't even want to be on the team?

Is this the whining and crying you're talking about?
Seems like something a little different than bitching about playing time, which is what my post was responding to.
Definitely seems like an irrational head case. Went JUCO. Has a kid. Not worth the BS. But this isn't whining about playing time. Was there something else earlier in the year?

So you posted this earlier
Yet you have access to an account that requires confirmed followers?
LOL. You are too stupid to insult.
And no, those weren't the tweets. He complained that he should have went to Michigan among other schools instead of Mizzou. He must have deleted them. But I wouldn't know since I don't follow him...but apparently you do.

Yeah, I don't follow kids on Twitter or keep put with kinda stuff. Seems like more of your thing.

Are you hangry? Need a double-Mac to think clear?
Don't you think it's possible someone on the internet posted the tweets?
Simple google search. Right click and scroll to 'copy image'. No twitter required.
Here's the source
Another defeat. We can set-up a hotdog eating contest so you can win one of these battles.

Well your simple google search should have turned this up:

Keep trying with the insults. Eventually you might produce something mildly witty....but I doubt it.

Taylor, a junior college transfer originally from East St. Louis, posted a screed of angry tweets on Christmas Eve, several of which he later deleted. Among those posted, Taylor said he never should have come to MU after former coach Gary Pinkel stepped down in 2015. He also tweeted, “I should’ve stayed in home state or went to Tennessee or Michigan like I started to do.”

Okay..?
Is there a point to that addition? Does that change the conversation we're having? No.

Sunkett grew up in Camden, NJ and knows what it is like to live in the ghetto. He also knows how important it is to get out.
He coached at Ladue and Riverview Gardens much nicer places than ESL. I believe he went to ESL because he wanted to help kids and give them opportunities like he had.
He may be soft on some players, but that maybe because he has had high school players disabled due to football injuries and other players die that he was close to ((Damien Nash).
I don't think he is soft, he does deserve college coaches respect. Some of his players are probably diva's and little bitches.
Did I call Sunkett soft? I don't see that anywhere.
Another head scratcher.

It addresses the deleted tweet whining about his experience.

It had already been established that I wasn't up to speed on his twitter doings.
I shared a link with the whining tweets.
That last post of yours was nothing more than an attempt to reassert yourself after you got tripped up with your assumption that I must've had a twitter account to acquire that screenshot.
