Same here, I have enjoyed watching him play his college career at LSU. On the other hand there were times when I thought he took plays off. I did not see out of him what people call once in a generation type player. What I saw was a gifted individual who played to protect his stock.
I also never understood why so many non LSU gave a flying frick about LF. I never understood why so many fans from other programs have tried to tarnish his career when he did not have success against their team. They act like just because the guy had a rough outing he is worthless. We have seen Peterson, McFadden, Ingram, Elliot etc.... have bad game but go own to have success after college.

I don't think anyone is doubting his NFL potential.

I believe this is the phrase that most other fans are bothered by, "once in a generation type player". For some reason to me personally if you are going to put that kind of tag on a player before he even sees the field it's going to raise some hackles, especially when the rest of the football world just doesn't see it.

For the most part I think he was a great ambassador for the school and did much better than average, I did loose a little respect of the Sterling T-Shirt but that is the only negative I can recall.
