We decided to spend some extra time up here in the cabin in Tennessee. I've actually enjoyed listening to local sports talk radio the past few days .... the Botch melt is in full blown nuclear mode right now. If they lose to Nebraska it may be epic. All of these Vols around us here near Johnson City and Jonesboro are rooting against us.

bowl execs/marketing missed a huge opportunity this year by not getting Billy Bob to pose with that trophy.

Are they still melting bc of the season they had, or has he done something else?

Nahhh..gonna watch it in the safety of my own home. No worries about being carjacked, robbed, raped, murdered, etc.

Hate it for our guys that the crowd is gonna be more than a little disappointing, though. Hopefully they're far more keyed in on getting the job done than the # of fans present, tho. Hopefully it doesn't come down to a situation where crowd support would have been exactly the fuel that could've ignited them and made a difference in the outcome.

I'm in Birmingham right now but I'm in the rich white neighborhood. I might go to the game if I'm bored enough to head to that shithole part of town.

I still haven't decided if I'm going up there or not. I'm less than an hour away, I just figure I can get drunk watching them here instead of going up there getting a hotel room, cab, etc...

what a bizarre game...

4/8 in the redzone, 2 fumbles inside the SF3, 2 failed 4Dn attempts

OL gave up 5 sacks to SFla - which tied their season high in a game (Connecticut)

USC was 4/13 3Dn conversions

1 pick-6 and 4 total turnovers

Outgained SFla 481-469

...and somehow this team found itself in OT with a team that scores 44 ppg.

When we went down 39-21, things looked really bleak. Glad to see we fought hard, but I'm not taking any moral victories. We should have won.
