Hurts returns from TFr tour,
The Barn has new JC Talent for what seems like the 80th year in a row,
Ole Miss has HOT new Fr returning from a great start but shaky finish,
State has maybe the hidden gem who shows lots of promise,
Uga has lots of room to grow in their returning TFr,
LSU who the heck knows?
USCe has a guy who should be starting for his HS team this year, but looks anything but,
10rc... ???
Vandy most dont care
Mizzou will they even play football in 2017
aTm bringing to the talent will it stay thru the off season?
UF, and the rest? what say you
Who will be the QB (s) for 2017 and when will SEC show dominance at the position

Except the past 2 years, and 2 years before that. But carry on.

Wait, are you saying Marshall wasn't JUCO?

Auburn hasn't had new JC talent since Marshall.
Also, Vandy's QB played pretty damn good later in the season, so most probably do care.

There was a bit of a JFIII hype train. We all know he ended up not starting, but we did at least have talk of a JUCO QB last offseason.

Also this. Anyone who watched Vanderbilt football this year (most of you probably saved yourself the torture) could see that Shurmur was not the problem with the passing game. He was not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it's hard to be a QB without WRs making routine plays. As much as anything, the receivers stepped up down the stretch and finally made plays for Shurmur. Kyle improved as the season went on, of course, and he should be at least an average P5 QB next year if the receivers keep playing well.

This post inspired me to go back to punching defenseless bunny rabbits again. I mean, what's the point to trying to be a good person in a world where posts like this are allowed to exist?
Damn you. Just when I thought I was out....

List looks well thought out. I wouldn't put AA anywhere in your top 10 os SEC qbs....

Will the SEC be among the deepest and most talented at QB and RB next year?
I think so.
I think so.

If Jarrett Guarantano starts beating out Dormady who has been the backup (and I think he will) look the frick out. He has a canon for an arm and runs like Dobbs. He may struggle early if he does start but there's a reason tOSU coaching staff threw a public/twitter hissy fit when JG picked UT over them.
He definitely needs live game reps to see who he is and grow but everything I've heard from folks I trust point to him being a potential game changer. Think Dobbs with a cannon for lack of a better description.
ETA: Some info: JG was the no. 1 DT and no. 77 overall prospect in the 2016 class. Jalen Hurts was also highly ranked as a DT at No. 3 position wise in 2016 but and as rated 177 overall as a prospect.
If JG lives even halfway up to his ranking and the fact that Meyer went balls to the wall to get him says tons, we'll have a great QB on our hands. It could produce some great QB battles, imo. Of course, Hurts has the advantage of a much better supporting cast, atm, but out WRs are getting much better. Our OL should improve with the upcoming coaching change and with great recruits on board (injuries really just killed us there this year).

Etling is a bum. He was way below average against the better teams he played this year and he won't get any better next year under the guidance of Cam Cameron 2.0.

I think the best combo of talent and experience will be the guy at Arkansas.
Hurts is obviously talented and a freak athlete.
Best QB though - Austin Allen.
Fitzgerald and Patterson both have tremendous potential.
