He has developed into a solid contributor.
Ish's conference #s were comparable to Hansbrough's conference #s when he was a JR
2016 IW 111 carries 496 yds 4.47 YPC 4 TDs
2014 RH 120 carries 573 yds 4.77 YPC 6 TDs
Not bad for a guy MU offered a scholarship to in an effort to get in the door of schools in Tampa.

Go to the youtube and watch that game against the Vols and watch lil Ish run over some people.

A top 5 pass blocker: that adds to/validates the claim that there was increased emphasis and overall better help with pass blocking this year.

Ish was good in pass protection last year as well.

Ish does the "things that don't show up in the box score" well and he improved his running this year.
He's a good contributor

Haha.
I put the ball on the T. Glad you hit it off. Now run around the bases. I'll pretend to scramble for it in the outfield until you make it home.

You fricking retards sure are revising your opinions, I thought Witter sucked? Actually you all suck at opinions on football frick you.

I know I've never revised my opinion of him.
He was unfortunately put in position to be a feature back when he was always meant to be a complimentary part. He's good at his role of the smaller-speed changeup. But until Crockett took over as 1a, there hasn't been that guy for him to compliment.
I think most people's major issue is in the way he's been used by the staff at times -- goal line spots.

Pretty much sums it up.

Like flipping the football towards the ref before he crosses the end zone.

Sometimes I think in College coaches try to get players touchdowns, in the NFL you never see this, they have a back who specifically gets 3 carries a game and 2 of them end up being TDs. They play smart calculated football. College coaches play emotional at times because they get connected to the players.
Witter is an emotional play, they like him, he works hard, he does all the right things, but he just doesn't have the talent that Crockett has.
Top 5 pass blocker? Perfect, he should be a 3rd down back then.

Always says "please" and "thank you" and parallel parks like a motherfricker.

Ish's block on the corner sprung Johnson on the end around for the 81-yard gain down to Arkansas' 7. Then Ish gained 7 yards before flipping the ball...., that J'mon belatedly picked up for a TD.
Even though it was early in the game; without that block Mizzou loses that game.
