They don't push it at all at Bama, only the marching band really know it.
Anyone out there got a cool one? I found out our melody is actually a very common alma mater song. That kinda sucks. Oh well.
(Yes, only thought about it because of the Army Navy game, what a cool tradition).

Us Aggies. Of course.
Spirit of Aggieland. And it's not the same as the War Hymn.

Because 95% of Bama fans didn't attend Bama so why would they?

I always found it peculiar that the alma mater wasn't a bigger deal at UA.

We sing it before and after every game, pretty much every student knows the words. Its also where my username comes from.
quote:
'Neath the Orange and Blue victorious
Our love shall never fail
There's other name so glorious
All hail, Florida, hail.

It is the most common alma mater melody. Not particularly inspiring as a song, but it allows you to hum along with about 75% of all others if you feel the urge.

As if more than a handful of Louisianans actually attended LSU...

We sang/sing it in the student section before and after games so I knew the words when I was in school. Haven't sang it in years though because we usually don't stick around now after the game and usually roll into the game right at kickoff.
I do still sing the fight song all game long even though I sit on the side of the stadium with the folks that don't know it.

REALLY ironic coming from an LSU fan.

A large majority of Carolina fans know the song because we sing it at the end of every game with the team, win or lose.
