So what we're saying is that if Mizzou had ponied up and gotten a real coach, he couldn't have "gotten things right internally" and won more than 9 games a season?

ETA - Make that 11 by season 3

That thought is a 5+5=10 equation.

It's (5+5)X=?

The X is whether or not we could have hired someone legit, ponying or not.

Who was available? Who was really willing to take the job? How much could we have paid? Would it have been worth it?

Lol.

You know where I stand on the KA hire.

I've watched, on an average aggregate level, one game per season since he's been hired. I knew it was bad, and I knew it would be THIS bad.

I'm ready for him to walk today.

I'm just saying that if KA did what he was hired to do, and if that mission has been accomplished, then let's move on. We all knew this moment was inevitable, that the hire would result in this.

Fire him now, get the staffing stuff in order, keep some of the young guys from transfer, and go for broke when it counts.

It's not like KA had elite recruits lined up to lose.
