Haith's second and third year players were basically all transfers

What's amazing is that Haith was able to field competitive teams in year two and three with what he was left. And he knew he needed to win early and win often. The fans were done with him after going to the NIT.

I don't think anyone thinks KA is a higher level coach than Haith.

Plus Haith is more attractive to the majority of kids who play college basketball -- black, kinda vibrant vs white, old, dry.

It's not amazing that he fielded competitive teams while he was here, and did so quickly -- especially with what MA left behind. Pressey alone is a nice leave-behind, on top of that the program was in decent shape. MA left because he got his dream job. KA took over because shite had gone wrong.

I mean, dude. Come on. You're too good for this. Spytiger and the marine, obvious limitations. You don't have that excuse.

Haith going all in on the transfers was all about him getting a contract extension. He knew that fans didn't like his hire. I have to wonder if he would have taken a different approach, now seeing how things ended.

I also think he gets that extension if Dixon wasn't kicked out of school. That second team would have won close to 30 game with Dixon and Bowers healthy all season
