The script of Mizzou basketball is already written, with only one character to yet be cast. Surely, we all know it.

Soon after our last airball of the season thumps to the floor, Sterk will declare the program will be going in a new direction and Anderson will be fired. Sterk will compliment Kim, noting his well-combed hair and tallness...and give him an envelope with two crisp twenties and a basketball board game as parting gifts.

The Kimbophiles had their chance and now have been silenced. Sterk, who's been shopping since December and has picked "his guy," announces a new coach who will "turn the program around."

The new coach knows if he can only win 13 or 14 games his first year, he'll be hailed as a success with high-fives and backslapping all around.

Unfortunately, another "rebuilding" may take 3 more years.

I'm too old for this shite. Gonna go back to being a wrestling fan.

Great post.

With a real coach, I have no problem giving him a few years. I bet most fans will too.

I don't think it will take that level by to rebuild.
This roster is full or freshmen & sophomores that would be great as role players. As experienced upperclassmen with 1 or 2 impact newcomers Mizzou can be a NCAA caliber team by 2018-2019 season.

KA isn't going to land an impact newcomer, the next coach might.
