I don't know there are some trash NFL fan bases.
But it's Alabama easily in NCAA. I don't know how it can be disputed. They probably belong in a top fan base list as well if the metrics are enthusiasm and devotion.
But yeah, definitely #1 on the worst list. They shoot/kill people (fellow fans and family members), name their kids after the team at a much higher rate than any other sports team, worship other fans who commit criminal acts, etc.

You can't say Alabama is that obnoxious. For instance, when they are bad 50% or more of the fanbase will disappear - so it ends up leveling out. Interestingly enough that's when you start to see more Auburn decals get thrown on the back of trucks, car flags, etc. It's nice not to have seen those obnoxious AU or Gatorhead decals for a while.
