It is amazing what happens when players properly execute the coaches' playcalls.

I've never coached - but would imagine that once you get to the point where your team is clicking and executing on everything they're supposed to do...and know the playbook... you gain the luxury of being able to tweak things and come up with shite and get creative. That seems like it would be more fun than constantly yelling at players that are out of position.

Pretty much my perspective. Obviously coaches can make improbable calls in specific circumstances and opposing players can make outstanding plays to thwart even seemingly timely offensive play calling but generally if plays are executed properly by your players, there's a high probability of success.
