What are the rules and guidelines to be a bagman?

We all know the on field success is only a fraction of the reason why recruits go to a specific school (case in point: ole miss). The other portion is the dirty money that is thrown at young men with athletic gifts.
With that being said, assuming I work harder than ever before and become successful to the point I can donate f250 trucks to 5* and f150 to high 4* (Honda civics to 3* and lawn mowers to anyone under), how can I start? Do I go to local hs with recruits and wait outside the field? Butter their coach up with an f350? How does it all work?

The first rule of being a bagman is that there is no bagman

Most gifts are given by individuals associated with that school's athletic foundation. Most coaches don't know or want to know other than to make sure they aren't doing something stupidly easy to catch. You aren't going to 'give' them a truck, you will be 'loaning' a truck because theirs is broken, heh.

So the best thing is to own a used car dealership with only enough cars for 5*/4* recruits

Bagmen are chosen. You ask to be a bagman, because there are no bagmen.
One day you're selling slushes at 7/11, the next day you're delivering big screen televisions and hookers to college kids.

Pretty much you start giving kids money. Pretty dumb way to spend your money in my opinion unless you worship high school boys. You find the kids you have a shot with and you give them stuff. You can't ask for the money back because then you get into trouble (SMU). I guess you might have an advantage betting wise and maybe you get some good seats if they make it to the NFL. That's why you saw a lot of committed recruits taking trips to Tenn. last year, apparently guys were offering money just for the recruit to take a visit. You bet your arse I would have taken a visit even if meant I had to spend time with Lyle. Tenn. is not the only ones doing it but it is pretty funny that they were spending money to put that season together. Boosters must still believe in Butch, not good for Tenn. fans.

If you get caught, mention a USC player's family so they get sanctions for 4 years.
