We are not talking about the last 10 years, we are talking about this year. The West, save Alabama, has dropped down to the East level of bad. You can spin it any way you want, but you would only be riding Alabama's coat tales.
As for this year, though....the West has gotten every bit as bad as the East....except for Alabama.

So you think that in a clear down year for the West having a 5-9 record(36%), is clear proof the East has caught the West?
I am not saying the East isn't getting better, but let's have the East stay competitive for more than half a season before we declare everything square. Missouri won the East twice recently, think about that.
