and it shouldn't

the point is that saban might be the only coach in college football capable of reloading every year after players graduate/nfl draft/assistants leave and not having a drop off causing the derping up of games during a season. not to mention the unpredictability of how a football bounces and how any team can lose on any Saturday. again it just goes back to finding a coach that can build your program the right way and string together enough 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 win season to raise your perceived ceiling.
