Beat Auburn and we go to Atlanta in 2010. That game was in doubt well into the 2nd half.
In 2011 he was 10-1 going into the LSU game. Does a three way tie send us to Atlanta? Probably not, but that was close because there was a chance. You're acting like Bret and Petrino were close in their overall results here and that is disingenuous.

spin it however you want, but the fact is he couldn't beat Bama at home or auburn on the road in 2010. There hasn't been a two loss team win the west in a decade.

Well there is one thing you are forgetting about the 3 way tie. Lsu was 1, bama was 2 and we was 3.
Win that game and we back into a national championship like bama.
