Totally disagree. It's in a shitty section of an already shitty city, is in total disrepair, and neutral site games in general aren't as good as home/home series.

Well, that's not all true. Auburn recently played a really nice bowl game there.

I never understand all the negative comments about Birmingham. I assume most people from Alabama that make harsh comments just like to complain. Birmingham is going through a resurgence and I'm continuously reading positive things in business magazines about it. I moved away from Birmingham 33 years ago when I left for college. My job opportunities took me to Texas, so I haven't lived there since. When I was in High School in the early 1980's I went to games at Legion Field often. Yes Legion Field was a low income neighborhood, but I never had any bad experiences. The people there were trying to make extra money from letting you park in their yards just like they do in Tuscaloosa or near in other stadium. They were always friendly, they just happen to be low income and black. The last game I went to there was an Alabama - Auburn game. I had my hatch back car packed up with a bunch of stuff I was moving out of town. I parked it in some guy's back yard. No issues, all my stuff was there when I was ready to leave.
