Murray was also the only reason we were even competitive in a lot of those games. We get run out of the stadium against Alabama in the SECCG, LSU in 2013, and Auburn in 2013 without him. He played some of the best football a UGA QB has ever played in the 4th quarter of that Auburn game.

I don't know how this got into a defend Aaron Murray discussion. I just brought up a point that every college football media member discussed before every big Game Georgia played prior to South Carolina in 2013. Everything you say is true, Murray played his best in those three games, well deserved after all the heartache in the prior years, but all of this has nothing to with my original point.

For the fifth time;

Jacob Eason had no costly mistakes against Auburn, a top ten team. Aaron Murray had his struggles against top ten teams, especially early in his career.

I guess I'm going to have to just keep saying this over an over gain.

adn those people are idiots. I've started a thread in the past with all of murray's stats against ranked teams prior to his senior year. The "murray is [whatever record] against ranked teams" mantra is so utterly stupid because he actually did just fine in all those games and had literally zero offensive (or sometimes defensive) support.

I'm not pointing this at you JC, I just think that argument was ridiculous and incredibly misleading.

Mainly because you attacked Aaron Murray?

Probably, because that is not what you said. Here is your entire post:

I would just like to say Eason is not Aaron Murray. There was no choking going on today.

That insinuates that Aaron Murray always choked. If you don't want to get jumped on, then you should be clear about what you mean, and show context.
