Wtf are you talking about? Aside for a good couple of months in 2005, there wasn't much to chatter about in the Mike Shula years.
Exactly, but Bama fans still expected to compete for a Natty in 2003-2007 without any basis to form such a conclusion.

Yeah. That's bullshite. We weren't even eligible in 2003. I was happy to make a bowl in 2004. Alabama started 9-0 in 2005. No reason not to have expectations. But it was smoke and mirrors. Alabama was better than 6-7 in 2006, but it was clear Shula wasn't the answer.

Actually, as a long time UGA alumna and fan, I would say the Georgia fans are among some the least delusional/most objective fans I have seen. Tennessee fans on the other hand always seem to be ultra optimistic about their prospects.
But yea, Auburn should win by at least a couple of TD's today. Our OL is not good and defense will be shot in the 2nd half at which point Auburn should be able to run up the score.

Bama fans were certainly entitled to natty expectations in 2005, what with the 9-0 start and all.
When Bama is having their off years, I feel as if they are still expecting a 2012 or 2015 result coming off a 6-7 or 7-6 season.

uga has enough talent to play with anyone. the OP sounds like Clemson fans talking about Auburn before the season began.
