A lot of his success at auburn had to do with Bama being on probation. At one time he had about 25 players on his roster that would have been at Alabama. Give him credit for taking advantage but he wasn't anywhere near what people thought he was.
By 2008 we were coming off probation, He got beat 36-0
And knew he had to get out because Bama was back. He knew and Auburn knew he had looked a lot better than he really was because of Bamas situation.
