So I have a GE profile stack/top and bottom refrigerator/freezer and I noticed this morning it sounded as if a fan or something was running and was running very loudly/roughly inside the freeZer part. I opened it up and it's not cooling like it should be and is only 41 degrees in there. The fridge side is still at 39 degrees so that seems to be ok

Any idea from the wise SECrOT as to what my issue is? As you can probably tell idk know a lot about these damn things

Pretty sure he repairs them, as well.

is your compressor running? If not, it's more than likely the start relay. Mine's gone out before.

I'm pretty good mechanically but I have no idea how to know if the compressor is running or not. The noise quit after a few minutes, not sure if that's good or bad

^This. Power surges can knock out the relay. Happened to my new fridge. $34 repair. I went to YouTube for directions on replacing the relay after ordering it on Amazon with next-day delivery.
