We should never, ever, ever, try to rush a play to "catch them off guard"

~50% of the time we get a penalty
~50% of the time the play blows up because of a missed assignment.

These hurry up plays never freaking work, they're always a disaster.

We should just take our time and call a normal damn play.

I agree completely... What's the most important thing about converting a 4th down play? EXECUTION. TAKE YOUR TIME AND GET IT RIGHT!

Tonight was very frustrating.

Let undermanned teams try to "fake out" a better opponent. We don't need to do this.
I agree wholeheartedly.

Two of them were after a time out and we still fricked it up.

I was screaming at the TV, just pick a fricking play and hit them in the mouth.

I'm glad for the win but that was frustrating as hell. We just are "out talenting" everyone right now but that's going to catch us eventually.

The call and execution on that 4th and Goal were horrendous. Everyone looked confused and the play was fricked from the start

It's happened all this year really, and some last year I believe.

Go back and watch these "hurry up" plays, not a single one of them has worked and they usually are a huge disaster.

I personally wish we'd line up quickly and do a hard count WITHOUT snapping the ball. If the defense doesn't jump offsides, take your time to run the play or call the timeout to talk about it.

It's almost as automatic as Griffith missing a FG that we either aren't set or false start.

Especially in the red zone.

I've come to just expect a CamRob false start

We obviously just need to spend more time in practice on the quick snap. I like it. We just seem to never execute it properly. I think we had a solid gameplan limiting and covering up our weakness at getting Ridley and Stewart the ball. The LSixU defense is also elite as frick and kept us out of the endzone.
