Correct Hootie is your Dime and backup Safety if any of the two go out. TB7 has some experience but not a ton. I watched at the AM game where he blew 1 coverage but the pass was long. He's had two weeks to get it together for the game, hopefully he has.

LSU will run a lot of one back, 2 TEs with BOTH TEs and a receiver on the same side or 2 receivers and a TE on the same side. This "trips" look forces the safety (in man) to take a deep route and leaves a LB or Nickle one on one. Ole miss forgot to pick up the deep route on the Chark TD and picked up the TE late off of play action a few other times. The beauty of this formation is that it is percent for the weak side handoff , cut back to strong side run play. Lots of success there with Guice against Ole Miss. Sets up play action too on the boot back to the strong side.
