What is this narrative about "serviceable" DB's I keep hearing from you guys?

Humphrey, Fitzpatrick, Averett, Brown, Harrison, Hootie....

I watch every UA game so here are my thoughts.

Alabama's D struggled on the road vs Ole Miss and Arkansas. Both teams threw for 400 yards. You guys are built to stop the run. Passing on your defense is the key to success, it's your huge glaring weakness. If LSU tries to run the ball a lot, we will lose.

I'll agree that the pass D on those particular road games was our biggest weakness. However, do you feel Etling more resembles Kelly/Allen or Dobbs? Can Etling do in the passing game what Kelly (gun) and Allen (quick release/toughness) can do?

Well to be fair, those were most likely the two best QBs in the league.

Wrong...you haven't been following how Saban has re-tooled this defense. This isn't 2011's defense.

What? If you mean you have to be able to pass as well to beat Bama then OK....I wouldn't say our pass defense is a weakness whatsoever....where we have been challenged is with guys who can move and have an arm like Watson and Kelly.

LSU doesn't have that guy and your OL won't hold up
