Is everyone disinterested? Has Mizzou written off the season and because of that we are going in with supreme confidence?

Unfortunately, I think this game will be closer than it should. Given our pass defense and their dependence on the pass, and their ability to give up bookoo(sp?) points we should on paper at least run away with this one. With the lack of excitement, if it is truly fan base wide, Willy B will not be as lethal as it could. Something about this has let down written all over it.

Mizzou and Mizzou fans have completely written off the season. The team has quit playing. No joke, there are rumors coming out of the locker room that the defense is essentially not playing for the new Defensive Coordinator in hopes that the poor performance will result in his termination after the season ends.

I may be the only Mizzou fan coming to the South Carolina/Mizzou game.

Despite feeling a little better about the season, I'm still being as hesitant as possible in regards to confidence.

It's never a sure thing, and I wouldn't be surprised to be experience a let down on Saturday.

Gotta love being a South Carolina fan.

I suspect being a South Carolina fan isn't much different than being a Mizzou fan. Flashes of success followed by moments of extreme disappointment.

Our teams can't seem to ever break through the wall to the other side. We sometimes reach the wall and even scale it to briefly glimpse the other side only to be pulled down by our own failure.

I said last Saturday night that if we don't beat Mizzou, then the Tennessee win doesn't mean a thing.

The 4pm start helps some. If this were a noon game, I would be even more worried.

I want to see Rico and Turner run the wildcat QB look like Kentucky did and us put up 300 yds of rushing. Hopefully that happens.

Would love to see this, as well. I still would lmao if we put Kelly, our punter, in to run the wildcat. He was a qb in high school and apparently was not all that bad. That would confuse the total frick outta opposing defenses.

Cautiously optimistic.

Don't want a letdown. Hoping our offense continues its upward trend.

Lends credence to my repeated calls to put him in at QB last year and pre-Bentley this year.

They began halfhearted last year during the UNC game after his fake punt run and culminated with his fake punt pass against UGA.

He was the undisputed MVP of the team during that span after all
