Due to your playing daze brain injuries, you forgot when we only had 6 OL in 2006, and then having to start multiple true freshman ol in 2007 and 2008. Having to grab Uva's backup qb, rhode islands LT, and uabs mlb are all signs of recruiting issues that you forgot about. Then again, you can't see talent at OL/WR or experience at qb/dl as current issues, so Why would anyone expect you to acknowledge old issues?

First of all, a lot of us are scared to death what is happening to guys our age and younger with the repeated concussions. If you want to try and belittle me or anyone who busted their arse for this team so you can win an argument on the internet, then you are a first rate count. Fortunately, I am clear of those symptoms for now and I got a scan last year that was clear, but you can't see it all. So, frick you on that point.

That aside, we aren't "having" to start grad transfers. They are in many cases a good bonus grab. Similar to a JUCO. One of our best Defensive players is one of those guys as well. Was that a bad move by Kirbs to take him?

I think Richt was not a perfect recruiter. It always seemed like we were missing one piece or the other. Yet, on this very website and all over the college football world, Richt was lampooned for wasting talent. The NFL was always the proof source. Now it's not in play. Oh well.... you see what you want to see... that's clear.

Just a question and if its too personal don't answer.

Who was your coach at GA?

Also, I've been told that Richt really didn't reach out to the old lettermen at GA but Smart is reaching out and making them feel welcome around the program once again. True or false?

You have nothing to say about the OL issues from 2006-2008? It was talked about. We signed one OL in 2005, and his best contribution was passing out in a bar while shitting himself. 2013 was a weak class at the time, and it looks awful now.

A transfer from Bama is very different than the 3 I listed, but we went after all of them due to recruiting misses at those positions. We failed to sign a competent QB from 2010-15. DB recruiting has led to a backfield of 3 stars. Very little top talent at WR as well. Check this crap recruiting rankings from 2013-15 out for our current OL:

109 Isaiah Wynn
185: Brandon Kublanow
213 Pat Allen
227 Dsyhon Sims
259 Kendall Baker
437 Sam Madden
450: DeVondre Seymour
453 Sage Hardin
525 Jake Edwards
537: Josh Cardiello
558 Aulden Bynum

Thats 11 signed. Zero top 100 guys isn't good, as is only 2 in the top 200, but the worst part is that OVER half are below 436. Thats a major fail, and we are feeling the pain today because of it.
