So what does Butch have to do to get you back on board?

Well season is shot and the culprit is coaching (exacerbated by injuries). IMO I like Butch but for him to have me believing again he needs to clean house. Everyone other than Scott and Shoop needs to be shown the door, he has to bring in an OC who will run their offense ala Kiffen at Bama, new O/D line coaches, etc. Butch could be a successful CEO style coach but in order to do that you have to have guys in place that can handle the little things and make you look good, which he has not done.
How we haven't hired a fu**ing QB coach after 3 seasons of poor QB production is baffling.
But shy of that and I'm done with him. If Mahoney and DeBord are still here next year I'm mentally checking out.

Lyle has lost me forever. He had his chance.

I guess somehow back into ATL and beat Bama. But that's impossible with him so...

I dont think there is a "back on board", just the realization that Butch is not able to take the next step as a coach and has reached his apogee. He is a cliche-slinging salesman who is insecure and too stubborn to make necessary adjustments within the program. The Shoop hire was encouraging, but not near enough. It would be great if we could luck into a good hire in the next couple of years.
It isn't realistic imo to think that he is fired this year under any circumstances other than losing out.

Nothing, unless he is kept and wins the SEC next year but I will be a negavol until that happens. I respect the man for bringing us out of the dark ages but this was the year he had the players and no excuses. G better be the man at QB.

Eh, hiring a new OC won't work because it is Butch's garbage system. might as well be like rearranging chairs on the titanic hoping that it would stop sinking.
also, I'm done with butch, Deboring having a job at this moment shows he has no idea what he is doing.

Realistically nothing. This is like when Dooley lost to Kentucky for me. That USCe team was really bad. Walkons and true freshmen all over the field, true freshman qb making his first start, down to two corners, shitty coach, coming off a bye, just terrible. And now I can't ignore the App State, Ohio, and Georgia games. All teams we should have ran off the field, but we even needed luck to beat APP and GA.
Completely undisciplined and unprepared all year. The worst part is we will have to sit here at least another year while this staff wastes the talent they brought in. Talent that is largely made of instate and legacy players.

Fire Debord. Hire a proven OC. Hire a QB coach.

He can leave. That's about it.

I mean I guess if he truly cleaned house except for Shoop and started over, changed the most aggravating aspects of his coaching style, stopped playing players best on seniority like Hurd, had an excellent year next year and at least came very very close to a SEC championship then I might get back on board
But it doesn't matter, none of those things are a realistic possibility. Botch is who he is as a coach now and he's simply not gonna change

It's also probably time to accept that the offensive issues are not the fault of Baja or Debord, it's a Botch issue

Lol we haven't even had a real QB coach during Butch's tenure. Most important position on the field is getting lessons from a grad assistant lmao

Win out.
Replace Mahoney.
Replace Debord.
Hire a qb coach.

Eh... he's kind of done if the Hurd stuff is true

I am still okay with Butch.
We've heard some good info on why the team was so flat this year. Let's see how they do the rest of the year. If UForFeit loses to Arky and LSU we are still good to go to Atlanta.
We have had a ton of injuries. Dobbs is a crappy passer, throws lots of INT's etc. etc. etc.
The jury is still out for me on Butch.
