Didn't it seem to really get bad after he hit that Rockies player in the head with a fastball? Fell apart big time

All I remember is one day he lost his shite and suddenly it was a horror freak show every time he tried to intentionally walk a batter. If he didn't throw it over catchers head, he either hit the batter or threw it right over the plate. Let's just stop talking about it.
