Is there a consensus that Brandon Harris was better than dak or Fitzgerald? Fitz had an offer to UT Chattanooga, yet Mullen wanted him. Oh and fitz led the sec in total yardage this year

Key is Mullen's only first choice QB that he's landed since he's been here. That should be beyond exciting for State fans seeing as his top target guys at Florida were Tebow and Cam.

ETA: Actually, he did get Cord Sandburg but he decided to play pro baseball, so I'm not sure that counts.

Still finished with a losing record. I respect the hell out of State fans, the way I respect Browns fans. Yall stick by what you know is going to be an incredibly shitty product, every damn year. I couldn't do that shite.
South Alabama beat y'all. South fuchinng Alabama.

I remember when y'all were so pumped about Leo Lewis. I also remember when y'all gave up 41 to Samford with Leo Lewis at mike. I honestly didn't even know Samford had a football team.

If you are going to make a weak attempt to insult someone at least spell correctly. What is a "loosing team"? Is that one that isn't tight?

So Willie Gay went to LSU this weekend. Then promptly came home and committed to Mullen On Tuesdsy night. Good job tigers! Sounds like he couldn't wait to get out of that shithole and away from the dirty inbred corn dog mfers.

Dude.. it's MISSISSIPPI. The worst state in the country at almost everything lol. Louisiana is Rome compared to Mississippi. But congrats on landing him if he did commit. Hopefully we can snag Jacob Phillips.

I'm honestly worried about your ability to read at this point. It sucks that LSU isn't going to land Willie but I would rather him go to State than somewhere that could actually challenge us. The only time I heard Leo Lewis's name this year was when Leonard ran his arse over. Congrats on the great LBer maybe y'all can take down South Alabama now, or hold Samford under 40 or hell maybe even beat Miami of Ohio by more than 1 point.

I've been to every college town in the SEC except Columbia MO and I can say, without a doubt, Starkville is the worst city out of all of them. Why anyone would want to spend any period of time in that backwards arse cesspool is beyond me. Congrats on Willie, maybe y'all can finish .500 now.

Saban may be considered a HC, but he's the DC. You do not have the best DC as long as Saban is at Bama

Mississippi logic.

Also Bama gave up 21 TDs in 15 games. 1.4 a game.
LSU gave up 16 in 12 games. 1.33 a game.

Don't let those damn numbers and facts get in your way though.

But Saban isn't a defensive coordinator. So Aranda is the best defensive coordinator in the country. Saban's expertise is supposed to be the secondary and that's the worst unit of their defense so.....

Scoring defense (all rankings nationally)...
Bama #1
Lsu #5

Total defense...
Bama #1
Lsu #10

BTW...
Wisconsin finished #4 in scoring defense and #7 in total defense, which is better than lsu. Seems Wisconsin hasn't missed the GOAT DC

Alabama also played the national champ. Who did LSU play?

LSU's defense would not have done any better against Clemson than ours did.

If you take away the national championship game, Alabama gave up 16 TDs in 14 games, where LSU gave up 16 TDs in 12 games.

Yes they would.

Our secondary is better than Bamas and they lit yall up through the air. Bamas run defense is a little better than ours though but in that particular game I can guarantee you that LSU's secondary would have done a better job.

Edit: no way to really guarantee it, but just take my word for it

LSU is DBU.

Our dline and linebackers were better than LSU's this year, so your DBs being better would have made minimal difference.

Yeah. LSU and Alabamas National title rings are going to be exactly the same too.

the Heisman winner. He didn't score, at all.

Since your blindly making a statement that we'll never be able to prove I'll go ahead and do it to. Yeah we would have, we have a better D coordinator and secondary.

This dude just started an argument bragging about playing in the title and then finished by trying to take the national championship out of the equation.

Here's another fun little fact. If you take out the 4th quarter then Bama only gave up 18 TDs 15 games and y'all have a national title, but this is the real world and those things did happen. Tough titty.

Was your D line in coverage when Deshaun lit y'all up for 400?
