This ^^^^. Political warfare has basically crippled America's infrastructure to the point of simple side street projects being held up in red tape for months, if not years, in local and statewide jurisdictions. It really doesn't matter if you are a Southerner, from the North, Midwest, Great Lakes, northeast. The problems with roads and construction projects are everywhere. That's the price we pay for not wanting our taxes raised. That money to repair shite has to come from somewhere. You know damn well the millionaires and billionaires don't want to front the cash. That leaves it up to us. But when these cities lose population, they lose the tax base. And the disaster begins.
